* About the standard price: $169/year and $16.99/month are the prices we will charge new members from our public launch. They haven’t been charged before, so they aren’t “was” prices — we show them so you can see what the founding member price compares to. Founding member prices stay the same for as long as your subscription continues without a break. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
Pricing questions
What is a founding member?
Anyone who joins before our public launch. You get the founding member price — $99/year or $9.99/month — and it stays at that price for as long as you stay subscribed.
What happens at public launch?
New members pay the standard price of $169/year or $16.99/month. Founding members keep their price.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. The 14-day trial is free with no card required. If you decide to keep using OurJamJar, you choose a plan then.
Are bank feeds included?
Yes — when they arrive, they’re part of the same plan at no extra cost. Live bank feeds via Akahu are coming soon; until then you can import CSV statements from your bank.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. If you cancel and later re-subscribe, the price that applies is the one on offer at that time.
Why does a budgeting app cost money?
Secure hosting and bank-feed connections have real ongoing costs. A fair subscription means the business is paid for by members — not by ads or selling data.
